Ingrid Johnston, LMFT is a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adult individuals and couples. She works holistically attending to issues through the domains of the body, mind, emotions, relationships, sexuality and spirituality. Ingrid draws upon a broad range of therapeutic modalities ranging from relational psychology in the form of emotion focused therapy, narrative therapy, family systems therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion, trauma informed somatic modalities and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Ingrid completed her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University. She specialized in a certificate course for Medical Family Therapy and Collaborative Medicine, completing an internship with Swedish Primary Care facilities. She has experience working with relational distress between parents and children and couples. She has also spent many years working with kids, teens and adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, highly sensitive individuals, traumatic and chronic health conditions and sexual health.
