Dr. Gene Michael Gomez completed his undergraduate degree at Baylor University, and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. His Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship was completed at Baylor College of Medicine (#5 Psychiatry U.S. News and World Report) and Texas Children’s Hospital (#4 Children’s Hospitals U.S. News and World Report). Board Certification in Psychiatry was achieved in 2002 and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) achieved in 2012. He is currently University of Washington School of Medicine Affiliate Faculty.

He has extensive experience in multiple types of inpatient and outpatient care for children, including private practice as well as work within community health organizations.

Dr. Gomez has 25 years experience as a Child Psychiatrist, and specializes in advanced psychopharmacology. He enjoys providing 2nd opinions and consultation to provide diagnostic and treatment plan clarification, utilizing reputable sources of reference. Currently, his practice is limited to children 12 and younger. He looks forward to speaking with you and being of assistance to your family. Areas of clinical interest include:
