Christina Diamonti, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides evidence-based and skills-focused interventions to adolescents, and adults. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Seattle. Her internship and post-doctoral training was at the Fremont Community Therapy Project in Seattle, Washington specializing in psychological assessment and a full range of therapeutic issues.
Dr Diamonti emphasizes a strength-based approach, with the goal of helping her clients develop adaptive coping skills, which allow them to feel more encouraged and balanced in their lives. She is specially trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), which inform her therapy in assisting teens and adults who are struggling to manage intense emotions and tolerate distress associated with life events. She helps her clients with goal formulation, skills development, emotional regulation, and acceptance, utilizing mindfulness. Dr. Diamonti also provides diagnostic evaluations for teens, and adults including cognitive evaluations for learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and cognition, as well as a full range of neuropsychological assessments.
